Alkemie & Freiend debut Blood, Booze & Betrayal

Did you miss our first full-length "Alkemie and Friends" concert this August? You can still buy a $5 ticket to our filmed performance of  Blood, Booze & Betrayal.

This was a logistical heavy lift, but we were able to livestream an in-person (without a physical audience) from St. John's in the Village in NYC. Sian Ricketts and Tracy Cowart of Alkemie were be joined by Fiona Gillespie and Paul Holmes Norton of Chivalrous Crickets, Loren Ludwig of Acronym, and magical mystery composer Elliot Cole for a program of murder ballads and drinking songs.

This virtual reality concert allows you to see the performance from different points of view by moving the position of your mobile device - as many times as you like!

We're grateful for the support of Early Music America as we launch this new series of informal, musically experimental, and multi-sensory concerts.

Jan 2020 Alkemie debuts a new program!

This week the Alkemists convene in New York City to debut a brand-new program. Sweet Friendship imagines a 15th-century court nestled on the borders of Italian and French-speaking lands to celebrate the richness found in shared camaraderie and musical diplomacy. With two concerts that are both free and open to the public, this is a weekend activity worth sharing with a friend!

Co-sponsored by the Fordham University Department of Art and Music and Center for Medieval Studies.
